Ed Evans
OwnerAs a young man he knew that he was a fast learner and gained valuable knowledge which landed him to investing into his passion, and has built a successful business. Over a period of time he became interested in helping those in his family, close friends, and extended family members. That allowed him to oversee the seniors he knew, and by word of mouth he found himself doing handy work for them which expanded ordering and picking up medications, cooking, yard work, errands, companionship, and much more. The joy of giving them what seniors need when help from outside sources were limited. He fulfilled the void that many wondered about. Being able to help was a joy. If he had a chance to do it full time he would welcome the day.
Kelly Evans
Owner & ManagerKelly was born in Louisiana. Growing up; her well taught morals were first based on respect your elders. As a result of her upbringing, she felt the necessary need to expand her knowledge in helpful areas, which allowed her to obtain higher education and explore in a field that would welcome her to share her helpful skills. For over a decade she worked hard in the healthcare industry where her help was in demand and a blessing. With her comprehensive knowledge, and interpersonal skills, she has gained valuable knowledge with certifications in areas that would allow her to expand and explore her strong abilities to help, assist, and encourage that were found limited to their ability.
Over her years of experience she has decided that her love, talent, and gift to help and give back would be in high demand. She has always had a humble heart with extreme patience which made her job easier, as well as her patients and families happier. It’s her job and duty to give her best when and where she can. She does believe that she owes this back to her different families, communities, and society itself.
Testimonials
I want to thank you for all the support and courage that you have giving to my husband. He had given up and you walked into our lives and put that spark, drive, and determination back into my husband! Thank you is not enough!
K. Fisher
My name is Carey, and you have been taking care of me for over two years (prior to Evans Residential Care) and you have been a blessing to me. I had a stroke, and could not care for myself. You were referred to me by a friend of a friend, and you have been around. Even on your off days you continued to keep in contact with me to make sure my needs were met. If I need anything I can always call on you to do what is needed to be done, in order to make certain that my life is on the right track. Thank you! My family and I love you.
Carey Marie
My name is Kisha, I have a mother who experienced congestive heart failure, leukemia, chronic kidney disease; stage IV, hypokalemia, orthostatic hypotension, anemia, synocope and collapse, Postphlebitic syndrome and mitral valve disorder and protein malnutrition, and I must say that I as her daughter was willing to take care of my mother by any means. However, I could not afford to quit my job to care for her, and she needed 24 hour care. I met you, who has been apart of my family every since. You was always available, caring, nurturing, and most important you had patience for my mom as well as with us, who were trying to adjust to the life change in my mothers health. You was very caring with respect to taking care of my mother’s needs. Cleaning, bathing, feeding her, due to the change in her special diet to ensure she is within range of what is required for her and her health, paying her bills, driving her to doctor’s appointments, asking very important questions that would help each of us with her care, and administering all of her medications for her many illnesses. You have been so great to my family, I want you to be around forever. You has made such an amazing difference in my family with respect to my mother and her care.
